When I attended Harvard Summer School, my proctors had SAT scores of under...

...660 in nearly every section, each. I just thought to say this for all of you who do not have scores that are up to snuff and are worried about it. They look at a LOT more than just scores!

P.S.-- If anyone is curious, I have a 760 in Reading, 670 in Math, and 770 in Writing. My SAT II's so far are an 800 and 790. I have 5's in my AP exams.

So don't stress out over SAT's! My proctors were both white and had no legacy, as well (to be honest, I was myself surprised)!

GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF YOU IN YOUR ADMISSIONS TO HARVARD; I LOVE THE CRIMSON TOO!!!

There are things about your proctors that you would never know.

They could be a world renowned cellist, they could have won intel, etc.

... but still, thats like 1900 tops

S. Hasnoo- I know! That is actually exactly my point. Everywhere on these forums I see people spassing out over their SAT scores, when in reality many other things matter nearly as much if not more!

Good luck guys!

oookaaaaaaay. i'm pretty sure top schools use the SATs as a basic cutoff, and then go from there. and if someone was a finalist in intel with a 1900, something is probably going on.

lol yes. rich parents?

"Proctors" or "proctor?"

Very big difference. One person does not create a standard or establish a rule.

"my proctors had SAT scores"

im guessing proctors

Who were the proctors? Grad students? Undergrads? How many SAT scores do you of for sure? From our high school over the last couple of years 5 kids have gotten in all with scores over 2220, one got in with a score of about 1850. Obviously that kid brought something else to the table. I have no idea what.
