When I click "submit" on the common app, does that automatically submit my school forms as well?

I know I have to "submit" the common app and "submit" the supplement. Do I have to click "submit" anywhere else, or does that just about cover it?

I don’t know if this will answer your question, but I was able to submit my application without the school forms filled because teachers are sending in a physical letter for recommendations.

Yes, I was wondering the same thing because my guidance counselor sent in the letter online, but my teachers are sending it in physically. On the School Forms part, it still says “In Progress.” Do we have to do anything to fix it or does it not matter?

No, you do not control when your school forms are submitted. They will be submitted directly by the counselors and the teachers

Okay, so if the word “submitted” in green is next to the counselor’s and teacher’s recommendations and school report and such, then that means my college already has them, or does that mean all the colleges on my list have them?
If I were to change the colleges on my list, would those colleges automatically get those recommendations?

OR do the school forms just get sent to the colleges when I submit the entire commonapp?

Just need to clear up some confusion. I figured other people out there would have the same question.

That means that the school form has been uploaded to the server. Once it is uploaded, the college is able to download it, and once they download it, it will change from “Submitted” to “Downloaded by College on mm/dd/yyyy.” They might not choose to download the forms until you have completed your part of the application, but once it has been submitted by your teacher, you and your teacher do not have to do anything else for the school forms.
