So I'm 17 years old, Junior and high school and I Cant Make Up My Mind On What I Want To Be When I Grow Up.Senior Year (Next Year) I have to start applying to colleges and I need to know what i want to be in order to apply for the right college that has a good area for whatever i want to major in. Throughout my life I've wanted to be several things. When I was in elementary and middle school i wanted to be a doctor. But since high school I've wanted to be a Entrepeneur, then CEO, then Physicist, And more recently Fund Manager. Now the reason I'm attracted to these jobs(accept for maybe physicist) is because they make some dough.I just can't decide! Let me say this now. You can flame me but i have to let this out.I am a greedy person. I am a very VERY greedy person. I want LOTS of money. I want to be a millionaire before I'm 30, I want to make 500K a month i want a huge mansion i want a ferrari etc etc.

So now I'm asking you, what do you think is a good job that makes LOTS of money without being famous?(200K + preferred)

Um, don't expect to make 500k a month or be a millionaire before 30. If there was an easy surefire career path for that, I would be doing that right now. So would everyone else.

It's not a problem that you don't know what you want to do. People go to college undecided all the time, change majors all the time (not just first semester either), and your major doesn't define your life. With that said, pick a school with a wide variety of majors. I personally made sure my college had both engineering and business schools. Don't restrict yourself by going to a place like Cal Tech where they only have one concentration of majors, and also don't limit yourself to schools that are strong in one area which happens to be your choice of the month.

It was so hard to not just flame you...I hope I helped.

I don't know about that, firewalker. There are a LOT of people on this site who have the exact same goals but just don't state them as bluntly as the op.

I know that the most sought-after degree for these types of jobs is a BA in Underwater Basket-Weaving.

steevee speaks the truth. Unfortunately my school doesn't offer it as a major, rather it just has a few classes in under water basket weaving (including an upper-level Quantum Analytical Underwater Basketweaving Techniques Lab).

Seriously though, most people don't know what they want to do when they go to college, or for a few years into college. Give it time, explore your options, do job shadows, internships, take classes in various departments, and figure out what you like.

You seem to know much about the art of trolling... it's almost as if you've... trolled before...

The organization will be keeping a special eye on you, DH.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA i seriously laughed out loud.

krnpsychopath- Actually that makes alot of sense. Work out, get some plastic done, marry some rich lady and then divorce her. Kinda do what K Fed did, except don't marry Britney spears because you don't want to be famous. And then it won't matter what you originally wanted to be. righhhtt??

International law and patent law make people a ton of money, but are very competitive feilds.

I tend to think Underwater Basket weaving would have many unforseen challanges.
