<p>On the website it says from December 22nd to January 1st but I got an email and it says from December 24th to January 1st. Which one is actually true?</p>

<p>They left an automated message on my admissions page (where it says "your record is being reviewed etc.) that says "you will be among the first to be considered after we reopen on jan 2....." I figured everyone got that</p>
<p>actually I want to correct my previous email...I actually received an email from Penn State that said, "Thank you for your application to Penn State. Because you successfully met the recommended filing date of November 30, your application is among the first group being evaluated for admission to Penn State" and i assume everyone got that?</p>
<p>Yea, my self and someone else I know received that as well.</p>
<p>My S had his app in by the end of Sept and he didn't receive an e mail stating anything...just still says "under review" on status check page...hmmm...</p>
