When is the date for midterms (as a freshmen)

<p>I was wondering what dates were the mid term exams on during fall, for a freshmen?</p>

<p>Could a NYU'13-er or anyone who has attended NYU since freshmen year fill me up on this?</p>

<p>Doesn’t matter what year you are. It goes by lecture times.</p>

<p>those depend on the professor. Not all professors give midterms so there is no set schedule.</p>

<p>This is correct. Many times, it won’t even be an exam- it will be a paper, due at a random point in October. Some professors decline to give midterms altogether. For what it’s worth, they seem to happen around the 3rd week of October- I’m looking at the dates of my midterm papers from last fall.</p>
