When is the earliest you can take SAT Subject Tests?

I'll be taking AP Biology and AP Calculus BC this year, as a sophomore. Would it be ok if I took the subject tests for math and biology the summer after my sophomore year? Would they still be valid when I apply to college? Also, out of curiousity, would the SAT Math 2 subject test still be valid when I apply to college, had I taken it this summer?

Yes that would be the perfect time for you to take them because all the material is fresh in your head. I took my first subject tests in freshmen year (so did most of my grade) after we took freshmen biology. I did the same with Chemistry in sophomore year but didn’t do so well so I took different ones again my junior year.

All your scores are valid no matter when you took the test.

I’m a little confused about your last question. There are no available test dates in the summer time to take any of the SAT tests until October, unless you mean you took the one this past June. In any case, any test you took at any time is valid. It’s good to get all your subject tests done and over with so that you can just focus on the regular SAT your junior and senior year.

@K1Helen‌ Thank you so much!

No problem!
