I've read in numerous places that it should be February 15th, but the calendar on the right side of the emory undergraduate admissions page says February 13th: http://apply.emory.edu/index.php

i’ve been thinking of the same thing too!!!
sooooo nervous… :(

I think it always says “by” Feb. 15, which means they can send it earlier if they want.

Same this is really nerve-wracking. By the way can they accept students into regular Emory college if they dont get into the business school?

What? You don’t go straight to the b-school. You go to the college first. I really hope your essays didn’t reflect that you thought the b-school was a 4 year program.

I wrote about the BBA program at the Goizueta Business School for studying finance.

Oh dear…Would really have been nice if you wrote other stuff about the University or the college specifically to display that you understand that it’s a 2 year program and that there are interesting things to do in ECAS before going to the BBA program. Also, I don’t if having your mind already that made up is as appealing as it was a couple years ago. Maybe good to have a strong interest in the b-school, but specifically finance, not sure. Makes you seem less open to other academic opps at the school. Oh, well, you should be okay if you’re qualified and the essays are written well and perhaps display genuine as opposed to generic interest.

Hopefully I’ll be fine; I think my application demonstrates genuine interest (including being one of the only students to select any early decision option for Emory from my high school) and I come from a highly competitive public school in the Northeast.

I was wondering the same thing…good luck to you guys. It would be great if we all got in lol

Yea i’ve been dreaming lol.

Has Emory downloaded yall’s early decision agreement on the common app or is still only submitted?

submitted 12/27, downloaded 12/30
On another note, decisions are tentatively scheduled for 2/14 at 6 pm est

University is closed tomorrow. And most likely Wednesday too. So don’t get your hopes up about this.

Sorry.

The university is closed tomorrow but so far they haven’t changed the notification date from February 14th. I’ll have my fingers crossed.

At the latest I think they should have the decisions by Monday or Tuesday on February 17th and 18th.

Apparently Emory is also closed tomorrow. Do you guys think the admissions officers can still work on decisions at home? (Since they haven’t changed the date of the release despite this)

I’d guess they’ve got better things to do at home.

But. I wouldn’t be surprised of decisions are all already made… And it’s just a computer program that makes them show up on Opus. In which case they would still show up when they’re supposed to.

I would hope so; the anticipation is actually killing me right now.

They also said they would update the blog if the date changed and nothing has been changed on the blog so I guess it’s still safe to assume this Friday.

Update – 10:45 a.m. – Thursday, February 13

As many of you are probably aware, the Southeast part of the United States was hit by a very dangerous winter weather storm this week. Emory University has been closed for the last three days due to this storm and the adverse travel conditions throughout Georgia. Unfortunately, we now need to delay the release of admission decision notifications for Early Decision II applicants. Decision notifications will now be available online through your OPUS Student center at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, February 17. For those who applied for financial aid, estimated award information will now be available by the afternoon of Tuesday, February 18.
