I don’t know for sure, but I think no later than Feb. I know at Brown at least, the alumni interviewers need to have their reports done by Feb. 15.
You need to check with each college you applied to. There is no one standard answer as far as I know.
For what school? Definitely school dependent.
@“Erin’s Dad” princeton. I got my interviews for all my other schools
Info is a little old but: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/princeton-university/1068791-alumni-interview-advice.html
If you haven’t been contacted yet then I would call the college.
I haven’t been contacted yet by Princeton either, so maybe they’re a little late with the RD interviews this year. I’ll give it another week or two, then contact them to make sure there’s no mistake. I live only two hours away from Princeton and an hour away from New York City, so there probably isn’t a lack of alumni interviewers in my area.
@blourring – don’t call the school. If you live in an area with other alums (likely since you’ve been interviewed by other Ivies), then your name is already in the database. Either there wasn’t enough alum volunteer slots (very likely) or you’ve been assigned to a volunteer who’s negligent. Either way, put it behind you.
@metsfan98 They aren’t late. Databases have been populated since December. I live in a major metropolitan area. I interview for another Ivy and less than 5% of alumni conduct actual interviews. I suspect PTon is similar. Yet, we only manage to interview 2/3 of applicants. The increase in apps this year and the decrease in volunteers = more kids w/o interviews. That’s simply how it goes.
blourring - Keep in mind that not all schools require an interview!
