<p>I'm planning on studying petroleum engineering at Texas A&M. </p>
<p>From when I visited the campus I could tell that the Dwight Look College of Engineering fills up fast.</p>
<p>When is the latest I could apply but still have a realistic chance of getting in if I'm not automatic admission? </p>
<p>I hear October but I want to know you guys opinions.</p>

<p>it’s best to apply by this date. if you apply later (if there is a second date), chances are much slimmer & if you miss the cut off for application your chances are zero.</p>
<p>they do not consider any applications at all after the cut off date.</p>
<p>i am thinking they may not have 2 dates (can’t really remember), but I can tell
you they get thousands of applications for incoming freshman and the sooner you
apply (and the better your numbers, of course) the better chance you have of getting
in.</p>
