mom2sons–agree with Gweeta’s assessment, students seemed laid-back and eclectic. A bit alternative, but not in an aggressive or overbearing way, my sense is that a lot of different kinds of kids could be comfortable there. Students we met seemed very friendly, our tour guide must have gotten hellos from several dozen students as we walked around. Felt like a very nice, tight community.

We went there in the summer, so there were not a lot of students around, but our tour guide fit what Gweeta and nepop said. Neither preppie nor hippie, just kind of straightforward, open, and comfortable in her own skin. And that’s pretty much the vibe I got from the place in general.

Thanks for the descriptions - Goucher sounds like an excellent social fit for S2.
