I'm starting to work on the online application right now, but I'm not sure when they want my SAT scores-- before or after I send in the application? Also, is it ok to send in the app without recs yet? I won't be able to give my teachers the forms until school starts.

I sent in my scores first, so I bet you'll be fine sending now. They probably just stick it all in a file and note when things arrive.

You want to start your "file" with Mich ASAP. That means that you can send in pieces of your application until it's complete and ready to be reviewed. I believe I sent my SAT scores after I submitted my application, but you can send them in beforehand.

it takes about three weeks after the request to get to the college( I just read it from college board) so.. maybe three weeks before you submit your application??

Hey I have a question about my app to UMich. I have SAT: 700m 670v 710w and a 30 ACT. Is it best to apply now, or later after i can take the SAT's again (assuming they will improve by about 20 pts each). And, can you start an application and note on it that you will send the SAT scores in from the October test date?

I don't think you have any problem with current scores to get in to UMich. So I think it would be okay to apply now.

you should definitely apply with your scores now. when i visited michigan they said a million times that they just want your app now, and not to wait for your new scores
