i plan on self studying 2 ap exams, psychology and another (either environmental sci, US gov, or human geography) when should i start studying? and if you have a suggestion for the 2nd class please give me your thoughts- thanks

I would not recommend self-studying environmental science. US Gov wouldn’t be too terribly difficult, just as long as you commit to it.
Government is a relatively short course (content wise) and I didn’t start learning it until January of this year, and then stopped two weeks before the AP test (to review macro).

I would recommend starting in February, I think 3 months is a good window. but January could be good too since you’re self-studying for two.
@BRittanySchray…out of curiousty, how come you don’t recommend self-studying for envi sci? i was considering doing that…so i just wanna know if its a bad idea to do so lol

^Why would you recommend not self-studying AP Environmental Science? I know of many that do, and I did this year as a sophomore and got a 5. Your success is where your interests lie.

I guess it depends then, there was a whole class at my school that had to self-study because their teacher was horrible and almost all failed. But I mean, if you’re interested in it, go for it.

Right now.

I usually started studying for self-studied APs the spring break before the exam. As for choosing which subject to study, I would go to the library and skim through the prep books for each one to see what looks more interesting/self-studyable.
