Well, the thing is I didn’t quite decide yet.
I am an IB student so I still have universities with conditional offers in UK and Canada, so until I finish my IB exams I cannot make a firm decision if I want to go to UWM or not.
So apparently I have to take a placement test.
Will it be too late to take it in July or June?
US universities require admitted students to communicate their decision regarding the offer of admission on May 1, with a deposit to hold your place. If your conditional offers come through at UK schools, you can walk away from UW and just lose the deposit.
Check UW website for schedule for international students. For domestic students, the online placement tests just need to be completed and processed before SOAR, which would be August for international students.
You would want to register for the placement tests to make sure you can take them after IB scores are released. Students cannot register for classes as freshman without their placement results received by UW.
