When should I take the PSAT?

<p>I'm going to be a sophomore in high school and i've taken algebra 2 and biology along with the normal level classes, someone said not to take it until you've taken math analysis (i don't know what your schools call it but it's the class after alg.2), so should I wait until spring?</p>

<p>what? the PSAT is only offered in October. The score you get on the sophomore PSAT does not matter for anything whatsoever.</p>

<p>If you can take it soph year, do it for the experience. The PSAT counts for NM scholarships in your junior year. It is ONLY offered in October, however.</p>

<p>I would recommend taking october of your sophomore year as practice, but it only counts october of your junior year.</p>
