I will be a junior in this next school year. We have a PSAT at my school in october. I am signed up to do sat prep courses in september. My parents want me to take the actual SAT in November. What month should I take it it? Is it too early to take it in the fall of my junior year? Please help

Absolutely not…I would have recommended that you had taken it in Spring of Soph. year, if not Fall of Junior year. Gives you more time to get your score up, if neeed be, for the college of your choice

Take it in your junior year after your PSAT scores are back. But take it before the May/June dates–you want a lot of time to improve before re-taking it in the fall of your senior year (if you choose to do so/if you need to improve).

Definitely earlier on in junior year if you feel up to it; you’ll probably want to be able to take subject tests in May/June, and classes will be more difficult/stressful by the end of the year, so you’ll have less time to study

Take it after you get your PSAT scores back. That way you’ll be able to prepare based on what you did on your PSATs.
January or March is good, depending on what classes you’re taking and when the stressful/busy parts of your life are are. (personally January and May were awfully stressful for me, whereas June was chill because all my classes were basically over)
