When to Apply for Law School

Sorry if this has been answered before but, when apply to law school do you apply in your senior year or do you wait untill graduation when you get your final gpa?

Depends on whats good for you. Many apply fall of senior year but these people tend to have great stats and are determined to become a lawyer from the start.

The truth is you can apply whatever you want but a good benchmark is after around a few years work experience. Also realize aid is calculated with you as an independent 3 years after college and not beforehand. If you want financial aid but your parents make a bit, it might be worth it to apply when you are considered an independent by law schools to score some more money.

Not all law schools give need based financial aid. Some of those which do don't count a student as wholly independent until age 27 or 28.
