when to apply to college

<p>my guidance counselor says in november but to be frank i want to wait till i retake the sats in january and have the scoes back in February, and i aslo want to finish up some classes for grade forgiveness then apply. i currently have a 3.0 gpa and ive taken 12 ap classes. i wont have my community service hours till the second semester which is another reason i want to apply in February. i want to go to usf , ucf, unf and uwf all of them have rolling admissions.</p>

<p>in addition my sats scores was a 1320</p>

<p>Your chances of getting in is lower because you waited last minute to apply to these rolling admissions schools which have probably filled in many of their undergraduate spots with people who applied in say November - January. This obviously puts you at a disadvantage and may even hurt your chances of receiving fin aid or housing. So I suggest retaking the SATs in December and sending in your application as soon as possible.</p>
