<p>I got a call from a local alum to set up an interview Wednesday at around 8:45 pm (Got my voicemail). I called back around 4:15 Friday (it was his home number I believe), and spoke to who I think was a housekeeper (but could have been his wife, not really sure). Anyway she took my name and said she would let him know. He did not call back on Friday. I am just wondering how long I should wait to try calling again? Thanks!</p>
<p>It it was 4:15 on the Friday that you are posting this, I might try again Monday evening at around the same time he called you (8:30 or so evening). Definitely two/three days at least, and be super aware of your phone over the weekend.</p>
<p>It took you 2 days to call him back, so how long do you think you should wait for him to get back to you?</p>
<p>I really wish interviewers would just email applicants. It makes the process much easier I think, in the fact that you avoid playing “phone tag”</p>
<p>My D was able to do all of her correspondences over e mail - including the interview! I am not sure how she set it all up but she did and it all worked out very well.</p>
