When to pay for housing?

After accepting the housing offer early in the summer, I paid the entire $2,500 initial payment. At the time, I think I selected the quarterly payment option but I'm not 100% sure (how can I check this?)

Anyways, I read that all housing payments are due on the first of the month (so October 1st). Right now though, my housing account has 0 balance on it. So should I submit the payment right now or wait until my housing account shows a balance?

Also, I've seen people link to a website that shows the exact amounts that need to be paid for each quarter but I don't remember exactly what it is. Can someone post that link again?

Does the bruin direct refund into our bank account not reflect housing? I just got an email saying I would be receiving a refund of $4000+ which makes sense if I am still supposed to pay housing. I always figured housing would come out of the bruin direct refund amount automatically.

@srjcstud, random question but are you a transfer from Santa Rosa Junior College?

yes, im from srjc, math econ transfer

Oh ok cool. I’m from Rohner Park so I was just wondering.

Housing fees are not posted on your BAR. You have to pay them separately. The money from Bruin Direct is the amount of disbursed money that’s left after paying off your BAR.

=> use the money from Bruin Direct to pay the housing bill and other miscellaneous expenses (e.g. textbooks).

read the website for info on housing

When are we supposed to pay housing? I know the first deadline is Oct. 1st.
