When to self-study?

I have a schedule of AP classes I'm taking the next three years (I'm a sophomore), but I still want to self-study a few of them. Can you help me decide when I should self-study these classes (what years)? Thanks.

Oh, and please don't suggest that I self-study different classes. I chose them for a reason. :)

Sophomore year:
AP Chemistry (Hardest class at our school)
AP European History

Junior year:
AP Language and Composition
AP Calculus BC
AP Physics B
AP US History

Senior year:
AP Statistics
AP Literature and Composition
AP US Government/AP Macroeconomics (1 semester each)

Self-study:
AP Psychology
AP Comparative Government
AP Microeconomics

They can be one per year, or several per year. Thanks for your help.

I would say take AP Pysch sophomore year as well as AP micro and the government AP… those are three of the “easier AP’s” depending on your strengths. If I were you take all three sophomore year since you’re taking three or four AP’s the remaining two years of high school. You don’t want to “overdue it.”

I would do AP Psychology sophomore year. I believe the Comp. Gov. exam comes with US Government, as does Microeconomics with Macroeconomics. Correct me if I am wrong. Using that info, both of those should be senior year.

Haha, I’ve been through all of that. I’ll give you some advice through PM, assuming you’re not from Massachusetts.
