When self-studying for AP exams, how many should you attempt at once, and are there certain ones you should take together?

^bump

I would also like to know as I was planning to self-study a couple of APs next year.

^ Really? Have you taken any AP courses before? I’m just curious because I haven’t and I just hope I’ll be able to handle self-studying.

^No. My school doesn’t allow us to take any APs until our junior years (next year), but this is something I’ve set my mind to. It’ll be hard, but I’m prepared for the challenge (I think).

^My school doesn’t offer them until sophomore year and even then you can only take one or two a year. And that’s great. I sure hope I’m prepared too lol. What courses do you think you want to take? I’m definitely going to take Comparative Government but I feel like I should take more…

I’ve heard Environmental Science is the easiest to self-study for.

Depending on the bureaucracy of my school, I would like to take AP Macroeconomics and perhaps with AP Physics. However, the AP Physics self-study will be in concurrence with an Honors Physics course (my school doesn’t offer AP Physics). I hope these will be doable.

Bio and Enviro.
APUSH and US Govt and Politics.
Macro and Micro.

That’s pretty much it.

What about us gov and politics with comparative gov and politics?

Hmm. I might add AP Microeconomics as well. Almost forgot about that one.

^^ No, those really don’t correlate much tbh. US govt is just about mastering the US govt. Comp is looking at foreign govts and analyzing the differences and similarities.

^ Sounds like you’re gonna have fun lol. At this point I haven’t taken any science classes yet so I’m definitely not going to attempt physics or chem or anything like that yet

Funstuff: ok thanks. I was trying to find something I could do with comp gov but I guess there’s really not one lol oh well

^ If I had to choose one that goes with AP Comp Govt at all, I’d say AP Euro, but that’s kind of a stretch lol

Yeah lol well thanks anyways should I try something else with it Even if it’s not related?or should I just stick with the one for now?

That depends on a lot of factors that we don’t really have information on as of now

@harvard, I’m not sure if I’ll be able to handle it, because I’ll be taking my physics course conccurently with chemistry. Does physics require a strong background in chem or just calculus? I’ll be taking calculus next year just to let you know.

^ You talking physics B or physics C?

Not really…

I’d really say… AP Macroecon or AP Microecon.

Nigeria, Mexico, and China hate the idea of AP Euro.

I am talking B baby.
