When to send SAT scores??? Help ASAP

im currently working on my ED app and will be sending it monday. can i send my SAT scores to Pton before i send my app (online)?

Of course! Send now.

thank you clendenenator

will they get there in time? should i rush them?

same question.

I don't think you need to rush them. The November test date works for ED and the October date also definitely works, and those score reports will arrive later than yours if you send them now.

Yeah, you have lots of time, but you need not wait. Do it within the next couple of days, but don't do the rush thing.

On that note... is the only way to rush scores by calling the College Board? Does Princeton allow scores to be rushed? (Someone on another board told me that Cornell or somewhere doesn't accept them...?) I'm taking one last SAT II in Novemeber and I want it to arrive on time.

Oh yeah and does it matter if all the other parts of my application are being sent in (recs, secondary school report) before the main application with scores/ecs/etc?

Scores are harvested periodically. In most cases, I'd say rush is a waste of money.

im going to be taking an sat2 in nov. could i send my scores now and then again in nov?

Yes, of course.

DO NOT rush scores, major waste of money.. sent mine last Thursday, they were received today... surprisingly quick

kraor143: No, you can rush them on the website when you are ordering the scores to be sent. I can't imagine a school "not allowing" scores to be rushed; it is likely that the school just says that there is no point in rushing them, because they'll receive the scores before the deadline anyways--if you think about it, they already have your self-reported scores, they probably just need a quick verification of your honesty

I just took the sat2s in october, so when princeton gets those scores it should get my full score report with sat1s on it and everything. does this mean i don't need to request sat1s to be sent, or do i have to send them anyway?

loser (lol, nice name) I emailed Princeton about this. They said not to worry, and that we just had to send them ONE copy of the report with the october scores on it. in other words, just have PRINCETON down as one of the 4 free reports that come with the test.

can you take the nov. sat2 standy-by for ED?

Princeton says NOT to rush the November testing scores, as they're flooded with mail at that point and there's something about the way its shipped that makes it harder for them to find. Don't believe me, you can email them.

i second arbiter on that.

hes rite
