I'm a sophormore taking precalculus and calculus A this year, and was wondering when would be the best time for me to take the Math II test. Should I do it this June, when relevent material might still be more fresh in my head, or wait till next year after Calc B/C to further my skills/let them solidify/etc.?
What do people usually do and think's the best strategy?

I don’t know, but I do know to not take it after Calculus BC where you have forgotten just about everything.

Really? Do other people agree?

You dont have to take Math II after Calculus BC. It is mainly Precalc with one calc topic, limits. So you are on the right track and prob should take it soon.

I would take it after pre-calc if I were you

Definitely take it in June. You would most likely forget some or most of the material on the Math II exam if you waited until the end of Calculus BC. You don’t need any skills past pre-calc (except some statistics? I don’t know if pre-calc or previous math classes cover that) and if you want, you could just study off a prep book to make sure you know all the topics. I would take practice tests until June, and perhaps cover review sections if you forgot the topics.
