When to take SAT & SAT subject tests !

Hi, I'm currently a junior, about to be upcoming senior.

I've taken 2 SAT so far (March 2012 and May 2012)

I got a 1870 on my March SAT, and May SAT score is about to be released in 3 days.

I don't think i did well on the May one..

I also signed up for the June SAT as well (which is about in 12 days), and that makes my 3rd SAT..

I've heard and read forums that talked about how taking more than 3 SATs is generally bad, and if i don't score well on the June SAT again, I'm afraid i have to take the 4th SAT on October, even 5th SAT on November.

(I really wanted to finish SAT before my senior year because i want to prepare for subject tests and ACT)

So, If i choose to take them again in October, wouldn't that limit my opportunity to take SAT II since they are on the same day?

I'm planning to take subject test for math I, math II, physics, and Korean.

I'll summarize my questions:

Would it really look bad if i take more than 3 SATs? (possibly 4.. worst scenario.. 5..)

2.Do you guys think taking the June SAT is worth it at this point? Or should I wait until the October SAT?

If i do decide to wait until the October SAT, I'm gonna have hard time preparing for the October SAT along with ACT and 4 other subject tests..

What do you guys think?

Thanks!

1: At a non-score choice school, probably. But tons of schools use score choice, still I wouldn’t personally recommend taking it 4 times.

2: I’d prep hard for October. Make sure that you have a reasonable goal though, and don’t let SAT prep distract you from things colleges will find more interesting!

Good luck :)
