When should I take the physics and chemistry subject tests? After taking regular physics and chemistry as a sophomore or AP physics and AP chemistry as a junior, and risk that interfering with SAT 1 studying?

For the best results, I would recommend taking them after completing the AP curriculums but before the AP Exams (May test date). Completing the Reasoning test in March or June would be a valid option if you wish to avoid the overlap.

tht seems like a good idea, but how am i also going to fit SAT 1 studying into that? along with all those APs i’ll probably be taking.

you could study after the AP exams, you will have 3 weeks after them to study and prep solidly

i agree with tito777.

If you are able to maintain your motivation until June there is nothing fundamentally wrong with doing that. Just be sure to not let your enthusiasm decline to the same extent as that of most of your fellow classmates after the AP test is complete.

ok, i think tht will be a good course of action, seeing as how everyone says the AP test is more difficult.(is tht true?) thanks for the help guys :)
