That "stefi" response was, i think, in reference to Stefi "checking her blackberry every ten minutes." Bizzy wanted her to know that, by sometime next week, there will be an email in her inbox so stop checking it every waking moment.
Bizzy also may have said that so that everyone would stop freaking out - keep in mind that each of those comments on the blog was due to students demanding to know when. Bizzy may have thrown out "next week" so we'd stop worrying today and tomorrow.

i got this responce in the email after asking when the decisions would be posted:

We don't yet know when we'll release the decisions. Not the answer you hoped
for, I'm sure, but the best I can do right now. Try to relax this weekend.

I'm not without sympathy - I can remember vividly, even though it was years ago,
walking to and from school during the timeframe in which I was expecting to hear
from my E.D. school and being unable to think of anything else.

This wait is making me start to hate U of C D: I don't know if I can deal with ambiguity on a daily basis xD. I mean I hear from somewhere else on Monday, but at least I know that! I don't have to worry about an email suddenly popping into my inbox.

Chicago knows all of this. They'll send out decisions today or tomorrow, I'm fairly confident. That whole "patience is a virtue" schtick isn't valid. Chicago needs to understand that waiting for a decision that will significantly alter the course of your life isn't easy. I think they do. That's why they sent out decisions the Friday before the 15th last year...

ripper90: some colleges release decisions on saturdays. idk if chicago admissions is open then. so make that one definite day we can freak out without refreshing

I actually don't want to get decisions today because I am taking the ACTs tomorrow morning and if I don't get in I'm obviously going to be very depressed and not be in a good state of mind tomorrow morning while taking the test.

I think the missing link was for updating your personal information, like your email address and whatnot. Perhaps they removed it because it's too late to update at this point...?
