When do we get our decision? can we get it online?

nope, we can't get it online (unless you're international- i think they email international students to make sure they get it in time). The postmark date of the decisions is December 15, so add on a few days depending on where you live.

Wow - internationals get it via email? Does the website say this?

I don't think so. I remember reading it on this forum, so I don't know how accurate it is. It could have been some freak occurrence once. Call or email the admissions office if you really want to know.

oh shucks......that's going to be one long heck of a wait :(

I have the feeling that I'll be rejected.

I'm sorry.

doesn't UChicago have a high admission rate of 40%??? we shouldn't worry that much.

yes.. admission rate is relatively high.. but they dun just take ANYONE out there

sure, they don't just take anyone, but if you want to see ppl freaking out, go to the upenn forum. those ppl are losing their minds.

People "losing their minds"? That twenty some percent increase in ED applications at Penn probably didn't help. I assume no one has heard any figures on EA applications to Chicago....

yes, that 21% ed increase is demoralizing and decimating those kids. once the carnage at the ivy's are over, all those kids left behind in the ivy rubble will apply to uchi (or not) and once accepted will bring up the mid range sat scores for the school.

the greatest increase is in SEAS.. so most prob those kids rejected fr SEAS won't be applying to UChi... neither will the nursing students nor Wharton wannabe

i applied ed for SEAS for Penn. and early action UChicago.

wow.. but there isn't engineering course for ya in UChi!?

i applied penn ed uofc early......... combine all anxiety on both forums...... ahhh!

there's no anxiety here only on the upenn forum. in fact, i don't see any anxiety on any other college forum, just upenns

theres alot of reason for STRESS in penn. i thought out of all the ivy league schools cornell and PENN would have the less stress because of their high ed acceptance rates compared with the other ivies.

one would think that except that they had a significant rise in ed apps this year which should translate into a lower acceptance rate this year.

Yay I Got Accepted!!! Wooohooo
