<p>I want to read it first, I got it in a collection of Fitzgerald short stories so we will see how that goes.</p>
<p>I have to admit when I first saw the commercial I was sort of like "ummm, wth." But after looking up the summary it sounds like a great story.</p>

Have most of the other schools announced a date for the admission's decisions to be released? I know some have already started sending them out. I was just thinking about it, and how bizarre would it be for the UChicago and MIT applicants if Chicago sent out a tube this year for decisions without any warning? I would be so confused haha. Sounds more like something for Caltech to do, though.</p>
<p>I think a tube would increase yield significantly, actually. Not a bad idea, if it weren't totally ripped from MIT (and that's not Chicago's style).</p>

<p>My school email (which I'm using for college emails) pings when I get an email, so everytime I'm online I excitedly check it at each ping. However, it always ends up being ski buses, or prom planning, or lost calculators, or other such nonsense. This morning I had a reasonably embarrassing moment when I sent a file to myself, heard the ping, and still instinctively checked what it was. I think I'm going crazy.</p>
<p>Although today I discovered that two of my friends are on CC, since the Dartmouth thread came up in conversation. It was actually pretty funny. XD (the situation, not the thread. The thread was very not funny.)</p>

<p>I think the only non-admissions-decision email that I'm willing to forgive is the one telling me I have a delay tomorrow because of icy roads. All college-stress aside, that's just nice.</p>

<p>i got deferred by columbia and accepted at university of michigan. my dream school and my safety school, respectively.
and now i'm waitingggg for chicago. i really hope they send out decisions soon. anyone know if they're gonna let us know when or if it's going to be a surprise?</p>

<p>How come so many Penn and Columbia people also applied to Chicago? I know it has EA, but there are far fewer Brown and Dartmouth holdouts here.</p>
<p>I heard that over the past years UChicago has released results a couple days before private schools have vacation. This means that it would be around the 18th this year, but then again this is just what I heard so I can't be sure.</p>
