when will EA letters arrive?

<p>I already received a letter saying that they have received my application but does anyone, possibly a current student, know when the letters of acceptance/deferral/rejection should arrive? They say that if you haven't received a letter by December 19th to give them a call but I wondered how much earlier I should expect a letter. Thanks!</p>

<p>I have been thinking all along that we would hear by the 19th without really thinking about how early it could be... I wonder how early it might be? Oh, the waiting is so tough!</p>

<p>chillin- nd is my first choice if i can afford it. i really want to go there and haven;t really applied to many other "elite schools." If i dont go to nd i will go to somewhere like Saint Louis University or Creighton where i have received quite a bit of money. I live in western Illinois so ND is fairly close- about 6 hour drive. So we'll see if i get in then i have to figure out whether its worth it. (i think it is- gotta convince my parents)</p>

<p>Ya, Creighton is a good fall back school.. Im also looking at it and i know of someone who transfered into ND from Creighton.. so thats good</p>

<p>I don't know if it's anything official like a letter, but my friend said he got in today. He's a recruited athlete along with the grades to get in without the athletics. Probably just a special circumstances kind of thing that he heard before most.</p>

<p>My educated guess judging by 2004 and 2005 EA posts they will mail the letters Wed the 13th so maybe we'll get em by the weekend. I hope so</p>
