So I received my letter in the mail and it said I will receive a decision by the 21st..does anyone know based off of knowledge what week in December we should find out if we are in?

I can only assume between the 13th-21st. (It will most likely come on a Friday I’ve heard) Also, colleges usually give a later expected date of arrival than actually happens that way people don’t call in freaking out for no reason.

I can’t wait anymore :(

Approximately 2 weeks!

Does ND send out big/fat envelopes for acceptance and small ones for deferral/rejection? I keep getting mixed up between all my colleges which sends what packages haha

I believe they send out an 8.5 x 11 inch blue envelope for acceptances, and I’m assuming the denial/deferral is probably a smaller white envelope.

It’s kind of sad that I know that…=P

Thanks csmith27~!

I just hope it doesn’t take 3 weeks for my letter to get here since I live outside the USA…I didn’t even get the “application complete” letter yet and it seems that most of you have already =( I did email them to ask about my app tho, so that was good.

It’s hard to tell you not to worry about it, because I know that won’t help, seeing as I am just as anxious as you are =P

i have not received the “application complete” letter either. i don’t understand why not. ND is really getting on my nerves. did everybody else receive one? where are you from?

I got one, but then again I only live an hour from ND. It would obviously take longer to send it somewhere else - especially internationally.

I live within the US, and I never got a confirmation letter, so I emailed them Monday (of Thanksgiving week), and they said they got all my materials.

Just asked today when they expected to send out decision letters for EA applicants, but I couldn’t get them to bite. All they said was that they’ll all go out at once, and will be received before Christmas. At least hearing that all the EA decisions will head out the door at the same time is something I didn’t know.

oddmonkey- the same thing happened to me and I emailed for confirmation as well. i was really worried for awhile there!

ny0rker- you should email them. i live on the east coast and still haven’t received my letter but they responded to my email saying they received my application and all of the materials.

I haven’t received confirmation yet, either.

Has anyone heard how many EA applications Notre Dame received?

[The Observer - Early applicant pool larger, of higher quality](http://www.ndsmcobserver.com/news/early-applicant-pool-larger-of-higher-quality-1.948772)

^ Haha i was JUST about to post that too!

Wow better quality! NOOOOOO! PRESSURE!! hahaha

AHHHH!! okay now I have a 2% chance of getting in and no chance early… i know it… oh well hopefully I get into my ED schoooool!

does anyone know what time the letters came out last year? do the letters go out about the same time every year?

approximately december 15 - i don’t think they would send them out much sooner than that. but theres a possibility they will come next friday - i heard that admissions offices like to send out letters so they arrive on a friday, since their offices are closed saturday and sunday and it gives the people who got denied a chance to cool off before calling and arguing! lol
