When will I hear?

I just saw that Chummer was accepted after being deferred. I'm wondering when I will hear.

I applied in October, received a letter in late November, requesting my semester grades (not a deferral). I sent in my semester grades a little over a month ago. My semester grades:

Classes:
AP English - A
AP Latin - B
AP Calculus AB - A
AP Environmental Science - A
Anthropology- A
Religion - A

UW GPA: 3.83
UMich GPA: 3.80

It's been over a month, when do you think I will hear?

Anyone care to respond?

I don't want to take away from Runner's post, but I'm in the same situation(kinda). All of my things were recieved November 11 to Engineering.

Before this year-
GPA- 5.1/6 UMGPA- 3.2 (Big difference due to 4 AP's in math and science plus all other classes were honors except Junior english)
SAT's- 800M/590V/630W
Class Rank-top 20%(exact rank never given by school unless #1 or 2)
Legacy
Strong EC's/Amazing Rec's/OK Essay

Sent in grades last week, even though they didn't ask for them
AP Calculus AB- A-/A
AP Physics C- A/A-
Honors French 5- A-
Honors Graphic Design(I don't like Art, it's a graduation requirement)- A-/A
Honors Creative Writing- B+(best grade in english of all of high school)
Honors Contemporary History- B

Any idea when Runner and I will hear?

CC, you should hear back soon, definitely before March.

NA1987, your GPA will probably cause a delay. You will probably hear back a little later, but that's just guess-work.

It took 10 weeks to hear that I was deferred. It won't be that long before I recieve a final decision, will it? Or are they very serious about how it could take until mid-April?

Alexandre, I meant that my UW GPA of 3.83/UMich GPA of 3.80 was for my semester grades. My Umich GPA for junior and sophmore is much lower.

That's again the same for me. My senior year grades were so much better than past years. Coincidentally, this is also the first year I've taken 5 majors and 1 elective instead of 6 majors like the past 3 years.

I know what you meant CCrunner.

NA, you picked the right time to peak! hehe Michigan definitely appreciates upward trends in GPA, so with your improved grades and your good SAT scores, good things could happen.

Even though English and History aren't as valued by the engineering school(I think), those are the classes that I've had most improvement from a C+ and B freshman year to B and B+ this year. I had my Pre-Engineering/Computer Science teacher write my primary recommendation, but my history teacher from last year wrote an additional rec because of my improvement. So I hope that helps.

sorry, Alexandre, just making sure. Thanks for the advice.
