Unfortunately, I applied very late, but I applied nonetheless. My credentials are fairly good, especially because I have experience in an actual lab doing paid work. My biology teacher had told me today that another person that applied to the FRI got accepted. I know her, and I honestly think if she could get in, I could to, but who knows.

When is the window when they would send you something to let you know you got in?

When I sent in my application, I got an email that said you would find out early June.

Wow, I didn’t get an email. Did my application screw up or something?

I just searched my mail, and I actually didn’t get an email, maybe I just made that up in my head, it may have show up after you submitted or something. But, I did just an email today letting me know I was accepted, so it should be anytime now.

Yeah, so did I. Congratulations!

Just got acceptance e-mail today!

Haha. That’s awesome everyone. I got accepted too. :)

Just wondering, what are ya’lls majors? I’m in engineering. Any other engineers/non natural-science majors?

I got accepted today, too. I’m in Natural Science.

Does anyone know what exactly do we do in those lab classes for FRI? I was looking through their website, and it was not specific.

I didn’t get an email, but I did receive a letter of notification that I was one of 60 admitted into FRI. Letter was included with TIP Scholars acceptance. I’m curious about how FRI works.
