<p>UCI was my top choice, at this point I can probably rule it out though.</p>
<p>i think some majors are impacted, like business admin.</p>

<p>4.0 UC GPA w/ 9 AP classes (1 soph, 4 jr, 4 sr), 2180 SAT I and 800/790/740/680 SAT II’s =[ or maybe my essays were just bad (how am i supposed to judge my own essays? :))</p>

<p>If I was admitted I’m sure a lot of you guys will be too. I did not have a 4.0 or high SAT or ACT scores.</p>

<p>UCI is my top choice at this point. I got into UCSB, UCSC, and Cal Poly SLO but I really want to go to Irvine. 
I hope I get in, all this waiting is driving me insane!</p>
<p>lol…I just want to get in UCI for the heck of it because I got rejected from three UC’s and I at least want to get into one UC…but I probably will get rejected…since I got rejected from UCSC which has a 74% admit rate.</p>

<p>Lemon Lime Rush: The snail mail is unlikely to reverse the online decision. Take it easy. The others here are waiting to hear for the first time.</p>
<p>It does appear that the release is at least “loosely” related to major. One evidence: Those admitted to business major at the Merage School (and who were not part of the Honors Program) found out early yesterday.</p>
<p>Still, UCI has an affirmative obligation to explain their pattern of release, not least because of all the anxiety and stress they cause on applicants waiting to hear.</p>
<p>cookiekahn, are you talking about UC gpa of 4.4? if that is the case, i feel for them. they have high gpa and sat scores.</p>
