When will we be notified about Thematic Option?

<p>I'm going to be an engineering student and I still plan on doing TO (though its much more of a pain when it comes to scheduling). A lot of engineering students don't do it simply because they dislike writing/english (which I sympathize with...I'm a bit scared of what I'm getting myself into)</p>

<p>On the schedule of classes for TO, it says "Register for 1 lec-dis or lec and 1 dis immediately following that lec and lab" lec= lecture and dis= discussion, but what's the lab??? Is it really twice a week ( if taking two TO classes a semester), and does it really last 3 hrs??</p>

<p>Why don't you email them and find out? They usually reply within a couple of days. And though they'll answer your question, they'll likely follow it with "but don’t worry, we will all be available to help with scheduling during Orientation." It is a bit silly to ask all of us noobs about the classes and the process when we're all in the same boat of nebulous understanding.</p>
