I applied to T.O. awhile ago and haven't heard back yet. Does anyone know when we'll be notified. Plus I already received my scholarship letter and nothing was mentioned.

atleast has anyone been notified yet?

I also applied and haven't received anything. They said they'd let us know by March 31st, but obviously that's not happening.

they also said we'd be notified about scholarships by April 1st, and that's the day they mailed decisions.

I was wondering the same thing - I haven't heard anything. I called them this afternoon and the lady who answered said that info will be sent out within the "next few weeks." Sounds like a long time to me, but hey, I guess that's what they're doing.

did anyone else get a letter today?

Yeah, I did. I was accepted. What about you?

Same. I wonder if they even read our apps? That's funny, the letter says April 1st after all....

I got mine yesterday, and I got in.

Does anyone know exactly how Thematic option works? Do we take core 102 and 104 1st semester, then core 101 and 103 2nd??? They don't explain it very well. Plus where do the writing seminars fit in?

I looked on the class schedule for fall 2005, and each core has a lab thats at night (4-7 or 5-8 Mondays and Thursdays), does anyone know what these CORE labs are? That seems like a pretty tedious time for a class.

I was accepted too. Do they reject anyone?

The acceptance letter only says "We received your application...," nothing about reading it, which makes me think ;)

i was accepted too, i think that anyone who was invited and applied is accepted. does that mean they only invite like 500 people? and how do they choose, since everyone's scores are pretty high

p.s. those of you who were accepted, who's going to do TO

Uh, what is TO?

Thematic Option of course :)

I think I'll do it, but I do have some concerns. Is it possible to drop it later?

I know, what's thematic option lol

O so this isn't for engineering students, ok. Thanks.

Aren't there any engineering students who also do TO?

I think anybody can do it. It's just not a program specific to engineering students.
