Accepted. Honors Program and University Scholarship. 25K total! Sweet.

Oh, and to Butternut, there is a Merit Award Decision tab. I think it only shows if you got the scholarship.

mine says “Your eligibility for the Federal Direct Stafford Loan has been posted to your record. Unfortunately, Boston University will be unable to offer you any grant or scholarship aid. Since our resources are limited, funds must be given to students with greater demonstrated need.”

this implies they give scholarships based off financial need, not academics!?
am i reading this correctly

wait listed

How do you know if you’ve been accepted to Honors?

Accept Honors, but only $5000 in loans… but im still happy with that!

Hanita: It will say in the Deans Welcome tab.

Aceepted! to the School of Management, along with a 10K Dean’s scholarship $15,500 total in money.

:( Still nothing for me. Does that mean rejection?

i’m in. sucky aid though.

I have my fingers crossed for you, chris2k5!

Hanita did you get in?

chris2k, does this mean we got denied…cause apparently everyone who has found out has gotten in…

Did BU send you folks an e-mail when the decision is released?

Chris and marg: I don’t understand why they’d send the acceptance/rejections out at different times online. No other school I know does that. They should have released them all at the same time.

And I’m in the same boat as you guys. Best of luck.

maybe theyre releasing people who got $$

Guys dont worry,
I didnt get in to BU. At first, I was bummmmm. But now I am okay. They said in the letter 38,000 ppl applied and they only had 4100 spots. SO good luck to you guyz that are waiting. COngrats to those who got in.

Chris, yes I’m in! I didn’t get any email.

Lacy, that would mean only about 10% of student’s who applied got in. College Board says that 54% of the applicants got in last year. I can’t imagine being such a drastic drop off in one year.

And I’m sorry about the decision. Best of luck wherever you go.

I’ve also I’ve seen nobody notified say that they applied to the College of Arts and Sciences. Mostly people from the School of Management. Does this have anything to do with it?

Got mine today, accepted to Arts and Sciences. I’m pleasantly surprised at my FA package for sure. 16500 in grants, that’s like amazing compared to what I thought I’d get.

Rejected from SMED but no surprise there. lol
