When you post about making a choice

Hi folks, I've been wanting to say this on so many threads that I decided to say it once here: If you or your child is trying to decide among acceptances, please don't just ask for general input by listing the schools. We're going to assume you know the basics, since you applied. We'd love to help you make a personal decision, but we need to understand what kinds of factors are important to you. Please give us more information about your particular situation and what is making the decision so difficult.

If you want to see what people have been saying about the school here over the years, it's helpful to use the "search forum" button, right under the page numbers.

We all wish you well and hope your decisions go smoothly. Good luck, and congratulations!

Thank you! The same questions keep popping up and many of the answers would come if people would just research the boards a little.

Your posts are always so thoughful EmmyBet!

Thank you! I do enjoy helping. The point is that no one can tell you what is the BEST school, but if they understand your needs, they can help you find the best school for YOU. It’s the same in any college admissions decision.
