<p>@Kandarp, why Skidmore? I am from Eastern PA. The only time I hear of this school is when I attend the Jazz fest at Saratoga Springs every June. Even in NYC (my friend teaches at Columbia), it is too much of a fall back option.</p>

<p>My D is applying for ChemE this Fall, so not a LAC-phile myself. But I have lived/worked in Boston. For what it’s worth, you can’t go wrong with BU. Was not really impressed with NEU students but I have heard that it has improved of late.</p>
