Where are all the Muslims participating in Ramadan at?

you smell..... i can't wait to break fast....

y'all's Ramadhans will be totally different when you go to college...

i know . But luckily we won't really have Ramadan in college because it will be in the summer.....

I hate college, and this fasting is really exhausting as well - as soon as I get back from college I sleep till it's time to eat, then go back to sleep!

true dat! I go to a residential public HS, so, I can feel how different it is..it is SO HARD out here! One just can't get the feel of Ramadan at college. I'll end up going to my home just for two days in the whole month of Ramadan. :(

yah-college is a LOT of workload,
where are you planning to go for college?

so what are you guys going to eat for Iftar?
I have a 2-hour test, starting at 6 :(
which means i won't get to eat until 8, instead of the typical 7:38.
well, that's if and only if I take my test at home.
so just a tiny bag of chips ahoy till I get home at ~8:50.

who, me?
Well, anyway, I'll just answer all of these questions.
Probably UNC or Duke. (don't wanna go too far from family)
I usu eat bagged lunches from cafeteria which SUCKS SO BAD! lol. But still, that's the only option. We eat peanut butter w/ jelly, gatorade, honey bar, some chips, that's it for iftaar. suhorr:- bagle w/ 'some' cream cheese...yep, that's it. That's what I'm living on in last two weeks. o_O!
But, yeah, don't feel bad dude, we all are in a very similar situation. ;) I go to bed around 1.00ish, today probably 2.00! and then just get 4 hours of sleep AND fast all day long w/o any naps and stuffs......I better start doing something abt my sleep deprivation and what not! Going home this weekend though. WOOT! :)

i always have to have naps

I'm already in college over here (and live with my parents, so I get decent meals for iftar).
Usually a meal would consist of: Rice, BBQed or boiled meat, chicken, salad (without dressing), and several cups of coke (or any soda).
I don't get up for suhur - I hardly sleep as it is, and suhur doesn't really do that much for me.

yah asif, that sucks.
that's what's nice about living with your parents--the food! (kidding)
Keep up the hard work, it will pay off one time or another.
so you live in NC?

NA, I am reading your post and my stomach is gRumBLing!!

Sheed30, keep up the ballin' !
lol

yep......going to NCSSM.
Food, Laundry, Cleaning Room, etc. etc. :D

hopefully it will..........next Ramadan wud be.....eh, I don't even wanna think 'bout it.

lol sorry :) didn't mean to make anyone hungry....but now, reading it myself, I regret wrtting it :P

fastinggg....i'm a senior in high school. not so bad...i don't wake up for suhoor tho

I woke up last night, all it made me do s go to the bathroom every ten seconds!

we've got so many Muslims on CC..

I don't recall seeing that many...maybe I'm just not looking...

I'm at HOME! WOOT! (till Monday though! :()

I don't want to wake up early tomorrow!

that's good, asif! look at the positives

it's recommended to wake up for suhoor because it's Sunnat of Our Prophet (PBUH)

any opinions on President Ahmemdinejad?

Yep, even if it wasn't suhoor, I'd deifnitely "wake up" (although I missed more than half of the suhoors already so far! lol just can't wake up even when I give two alarms! o_0! Same goes for my roomie and hall mate lol). I wud recommend no body to go w/o suhoor.......it's so tough when u have TWO 2 hours of lab along w/ athletics and clubs and etc.

Wow, we are in 18th Ramadan......half way down! :(
