Where are all the Muslims participating in Ramadan at?

OMG It IS SO DAMN HOT!!!! So now it's no food, no water, and horrible heat while they FORCE us to wear those disgusting lab coats!! ARGH!

haha, reminds of Egyptian deserts.....:p lol.

try living here, you won't be so :p

Eh, actually it's hotter here right now! :p (I just checked it from weather.com lol) although temperature inside houses or offices are controlled in almost every place in the US. :D

well, we have an AC, but my parents don't want me to set it on anything less than 24 C, so it really makes no diff at all...

don't y'all hate labs?
or am I the only one?

I broke a straight adapter on my third day in the lab...

I hate all but the zoology lab. I enjoy disecting frogs...but that's me.

I hAAAAYYYYYYTEEEEEEEE labs! So, intimidating! can learn nothing from it except how to mix stuffs and agggggh.....!

let me tell you about my day in the lab today.

It was zoology (in which we are going to learn the entire internal and external anatomy of Bufo Regularis, or the Egyptian Toad). We were supposed to learn about the General Viscera. The doctors told us to find a certain vein, and put two terniquets at two ends and cut it between them, so as not to disturb blood flow. Anyhoo, I found the vein, and began to separate it from the connecting tisse, but instead punctured it!! Blood leaked all over the place, and it was a complete mess. Then while I was trying to put it back together  my forceps accidentally hit the heart, which exploded and leaked all the blood into the plate, so it was impossible to see anything. Then I removed the murky water, and went to the sink to replace it, only to relaize that there was no water due to a plumbing problem. so not only was the sample ruined, but I had nowhere to clean up after myself!
(However, my second sample went pretty smooth, without any unfortunate accidents) :D

haha, seems like u r having some bloody time! lol. Atleast it sounds so much better than a Chemistry lab where you just deal w/ evaporating, heating, cooling, observation of color change, addition of some substances........I'm sure I hate Chemistry now just bcoz of these wierd labs.

that's how my chem lab sessions are like! I hate them!

This Wednesday will be the Fast-A-Thon at our school. :) (if u haven't heard this term, very plausible, it's when non-Muslims fast...as many as we can convince with promise of some muy delicioso food!......it's one day only by the way)

good for them....if i wasn't muslim i probably wouldn't do it though to tell you the truth....BUT IM SO GLAD I AM!!!

Stupid recrystallization lab today ruined my grade.
Life would be much easier without those labs.

NA, sounds like a great lab, except I am creeped out by almost all animals.
We had a frog dissection in HS, I didn't touch a single thing. And then a pig dissection, I had to cover my nose the whole time.

Fast-A-Thon is a great way to inform other people about our religion.

there's such a thing as a fast-a-thon? how does that work? lol

there's no such thing as fast-a-thon in egypt definitely! They just fast like us, and that's it!

haha, true.
or so I think...

there's no anything-a-thons over here. There was one walk-a-thon last year to raise awareness about poverty or something like that...but it failed (duh!!)..and besides, chritians around here don't seem like they would be open to the idea...

Ramadan 22. Just a bit more than a week to go. :(

how did fasting go for most of you so far?

reallllllly fast!!!
