<p>CPA, sounds like a good idea. All you have to do is recite the shahada [genuinely] and taa-daa you’re officially a muslim! No ceremony , party…nothing. You tell me… I’ve never met a Druze…but one of my good Lebanese friends has. I literally know nothing about them…but i’m pretty sure they’re a minority…</p>

<p>yes. when u do fast i fast for the entire day…from dusk to dawn. Only little kids fast for a portion of the day…tell your friends they’re supposed to fast for the entire day…they’re only wasting their time and energy fasting for a portion of the day…and the have to pray/ pray on time for it to be accepted.</p>

<p>^ I’m also of yemeni descent…but obviously the majority are Shia…I’ve never met a black person that was shiite…typically you’ll find shiites in Iran…and in some other counties here & there but but they’re the minority :P</p>

<p>Not really. Only after you’ve completed the Hajj you would be considered pure & like a re-born baby. However, during ramadan it’s like extra credit…you get even MORE good deeds than normal. Also during the last ten nights of Ramadan if you pray on the correct night the day the Qu’ran was revealed i think almost all of your sins will be forgiven.</p>
