Where are some places to volunteer besides a hospital and a library

Well my local hospital and library are both closed down, and I was just wondering if there any other places I can volunteer at. How about a restaurant or a book store? Do they accept volunteers or no?

Humane society or homeless shelter

volunteering at summer camps, red cross, make a wish, peer tutoring, church…

or looking for a job in a restaurant or a book store. good luck.

food pantries, church functions, fundraisers for specific organizations (i.e.–wounded warriors), habitat for humanity, animal shelters, daycare centers, nursing homes, retreat homes for battered women, etc.

Museums? I know a ton of the ones in my area are looking for docents.

Boys and Girls Clubs, nonprofits, political campaigns and organizations.

if you’re interested in volunteering somewhere just ask!
they’ll probably be impressed that a youth wants to help out in a professional setting. and hey, they may just need a couple hands willing to do work for free!

What major are you considering? Where would it be fun to work or volunteer? Almost anyone would be happy to have “free” help.
