Volunteering

Help! My friends and I are looking for places to volunteer. Where should we go?

Europe

10char

…what?
seriously, we need idea!

Remember we are only freshman

Try your local library and hospital. They are often looking for help! I’ve done both. Also if you go to a church or congregation, many will have a special department devoted to volunteering and community service that you could talk to. Hope this helps!

Hospital, homeless shelter, library, church (:

Volunteer doing something you actually enjoy doing. Try to find something that is not very common to set yourself apart from people with cookie cutter ecs.

Volunteering is overrated IMO.

But if you really want to volunteer, try to volunteer at somewhere relevant to your interests. If you are into medicine, biology, etc. then volunteer at a hospital. If you are into reading and literature than volunteer at a library. If you are really into sports, volunteer teaching kids how to play basketball.

Soup kitchens. ******* love soup kitchens.

Er uh I mean colleges.

At the hospitals near where I live, they only take volunteers that are 16 years old and up. I’m not positive, but I’m pretty sure.

I like volunteering at the library. They let me borrow books for free.

Libraries, churches, red cross/salvation army, Appalachia service project, animal shelters etc. When school is back in session try checking with your guidance office. In my school outside the guidance office there is a bulletin board with a bunch of volunteer opportunities.

I like to volunteer at a local warehouse where an international drug operation goes down. I usually smuggle the drugs between our town and my state’s capital a few cities over.

The hours are great and my supervisors give me nothing but great guidance and assistance. Sure I’ve been beaten a few times but hey, no pain no gain.

A few weeks ago I stole about $100 from my supervisor and had the fingers of my right hand cut off. It’s alright I guess, but typing this out was a hassle.

So definitely go the drug ring route. Pays off exponentially.
