I’ve been at a CCC for three years now and I want to transfer to a UC for 2020, mainly trying for UCB or UCSD. In the past I used assist to find what classes I needed for majors but now its missing majors and its missing classes that I know are perquisites for other majors. For example, I’m also applying to SDSU as an international business major, on TAP there’s a full list of classes that don’t show up on assist. As for UC, I’m mainly trying to find a major I already have the classes for, as it was a last minute decision to apply there. I just can’t seem to find a reliable place that lists all UC majors and all major perquisite classes needed.
It looks like ASSIST listings by major are only updated to 2016-17. You can look up the major prerequisite listings for 2016-17, but then you should check the UCB/CSU major web sites to see if any prerequisites are now different. If they are different, then you need to look up equivalencies by course on ASSIST.
It looks like SDSU international business as listed on SDSU’s web site lists similar frosh/soph courses as 2016-17 ASSIST: two semesters of accounting, two semesters of introductory economics, one semester of statistics, introductory business law, introductory information systems, third semester of foreign language relevant to your focus region, and a history or cultural related course relevant to your focus region.
