Where can I get in?

Hey, I’d just like to put some feelers out on where people think I can get in, I’d prefer to attend a college/university in a bigger city (New York, L.A., Boston, etc.) My stats are below. Side note: I know my ECs are low but whatever.

ACT: 27
GPA: UW- 3.5, W- 3.6/3.7 ish
AP classes: Chemistry, Government, English Lit, European History, English Comp, Biology, Psychology
Honors: Calculus
ECs: Tennis; Golf; Academic games (2 years); Foreign Language Day (3 years); Volunteer work; Job shadowing; Photography

What can you and your family afford? Intended major?

I’m not entirely sure, we’re fairly well off so tuition isn’t a huge factor. And I plan to be pre-med (I know that’s not a major but it gives you an idea). Most likely biochemistry or something to that effect.

Any USNWR top 50 universities or top 20 LAC’s would be a reach or out of reach with your stats.

Another EC of mine is robotics, I forgot to mention that one.

Being well off doesn’t mean a thing, if you parents will not pay for college. There is a poster on this site that claims his/her parents make $325K and is looking for aid since they will only pay $20K for college. I would get a definite amount before I proceed with applications. Based upon your posted stats, merit aid might not be a possibility. What is your Home State? OOS schools could cost you in excess of $50K/year so know your budget first.
