^I assume OP plans to stay in his apartment during breaks… or hasn’t thought that far. Having to take care of a dog AND of an apartment AND of grocery shopping AND of cooking, all in a foreign country, while attending rigorous schools, is a recipe for disaster in my opinion.
BTW OP some US colleges allow dogs on campus (there’s a “dog dorm”) but I have no idea what the situation is in Canada.
I disagree with the gap year because i already know what i want to become. And i dont know what do to with my dog and dont be negativ like this im not going to ship my dog back omg idk why you guys r saying this!
After how many year in Quebec am i able to transfer into a US college? ( with a scolarship if possible)? Im asking this bc i still can go to the US, it will permit them to see only my university semesters instead of high school right?
After you graduate from a Quebec university with a “bacc” (Bachelor) and work a few years you’ll be eligible to apply to a graduate program/MBA in the us.
“After how many year in Quebec am i able to transfer into a US college”
If you try to transfer after one year, then you need to send in your application after completing only one semester. In this case, your high school grades will matter a lot in terms of whether you get accepted.
If you try to transfer after two years, then you will be sending in your application after completing three semesters at university. In this case universities that you are applying to will still require that you send them both high school and university transcripts. However, you high school grades will not matter nearly as much since they have quite a bit more university grades to consider.
Of course if you start university in January, then you will be sort of in the middle, and applying after completing two semesters with the intent of transferring after three semesters (the applications generally need to go in a semester early).
Regardless of which approach you take, getting a large enough scholarship to bring the cost of a US school down to the cost of a university in Quebec is unlikely.
However, I am in agreement with @MYOS1634 that your best bet would probably be to complete your bachelor’s in Quebec. At that point you will need to decide whether to apply for a work permit to stay in Canada (the last time that I checked a 4 year bachelor’s degree from a Canadian school qualifies you for a 3 year work permit), or apply to US or other schools for a master’s degree (US schools will know how strong the Canadian schools are), or plan to return to France. Getting a work permit, working for a couple of years, and then applying to master’s programs is one very sensible option. Note that this decision is something that you will not have to make for about 4 years, so you have lots of time and lots of experience before you need to even think about it.
Thank you guys for your answers! When i said ‘’ transfer ‘’ i wanted to say that i would like to apply in graduate schools after undergraduate courses in Canada. I really want to go to the US, i can maybe as you said transfer, after my bachelor?

After you have finished a bachelor degree, anywhere (Quebec, France, Austria, Turkey, wherever), you can apply to graduate school in the US. It is not a transfer. Remember that graduate school in the US tends to cost even more than undergrad and there is generally less funding available.
@ilvermornyisolt – “transfer” means you change schools while still doing your bachelor’s, so don’t use that word when talking about going to graduate school (after your bachelors.) Yes, you can apply to graduate schools in America after you finish your undergraduate (bachelor’s) studies in Canada. Please note that while most PhD – doctorate – programs in America are funded (meaning you don’t pay tuition and receive a small stipend to live on) most Master’s programs are quite expensive. And there is very little meaningful financial aid, especially for such professional programs such as business MBA or law.
@katliamom thank you for the vocabulary advice! Yes i would like to integrate a graduate school after my bachelor, juste a master not a PHD or doctorate but as you said it’s expensive. IF i go to graduate school they will only look at my university scores right?
By the way i would like to add that i must go abroad because it will permit me to avoid basic french univeristies without opportunities. Going abroad will permit myself to start a new life, have good grades, and apply to good universities with good opportunities! @MYOS1634 my friend is asking if he can study in canada with mention ‘’ AB ‘’
