Where can I learn more about the atmosphere of Canadian universities?

I find a lot on American schools but I can’t find much on Canadian. Can anyone sum up schools like UBC, UofT and Mcgill for me? Does anyone know any resources I can use to read up on these schools?

Try each school’s website. There is a very active thread here on CC for McGill. Search YouTube for various videos on each school.

From what I know, McGill is seen as a little more prestigious than UBC, though not all too different. University of Toronto is quite similar in that aspect as well. I agree that you should look at the websites, and try to find the best school in accordance to your interests.
The locations are often the deciding factors for many potential students. While UBC is located in a rather diverse and largely English-speaking area, McGill is in an area where people speak French as well.
