where can i transfer to with 3.5 gpa for 28 credits?

hi I currently have a 3.5-3.6 gpa for 28 bmcc credits, please provide me with the top colleges you think I have a clear shot at transferring to. :slight_smile: have a nice day

I assume these are Community College credits? Have you looked at your State Flagship University? They will be the best, most cost effective and will have the highest chance of accepting your credits.
Assuming your name indicates you are from NY State, the SUNYs are excellent values.

I see from another thread that your high school grades are said to be not very good. As such, the longer that you are in community college, and the better that you do in community college, the less that your high school grades will matter.

Assuming that you are in NY, I would suggest that you apply to some of the SUNY schools, assuming that the deadline has not passed (of course you should check this first). If you don’t get in anywhere that you want to go, spend another year at community college and intend to transfer at the end of next year. I would suggest that if you go this route then plan to get your applications in earlier next year. Having applied this year shouldn’t hurt at all when you apply next year – if they even notice it will just make the point that you are serious about attending.

Also, finances do matter to the large majority of students. Do you have financial constraints?

Due to the lateness of my transcripts being sent, I fear that seats may be takin at SUNY BINGHAMTON ( the only suny I crave) so instead I want to overlook the remaining sunys and start considering respectable out of state schools thatll allow me entry. financial restraints shouldn’t be an issue unless the school costs more than 40 a year

update , I got into Albany two days after I sent em my transcript, they didn’t require official transcripts from school. so still waiting on bing, buff and stony . thoughts on my chances, 3.6 gpa for 28 creds
