<p>Dad went to Cincinnati and Mom went to SUNY Geneseo and then Delaware.</p>

Dad-U South Florida (two masters, he actually flunked out of high school)

<p>My mom went to UCSB, and studied abroad in Mexico, although she wishes she had chosen UC Berkeley. My dad went to UPenn, which he loved, but graduated early because he was tired of being in school. I would definitely consider going to UPenn, but I wouldn’t want to go to UCSB (too close to home).</p>

<p>My dad went to Canterbury College of Technology (in England) but left after a year because he received an apprenticeship working for a welder. My mum finished high school (at 16, which is normal in England) and never went to university. :)</p>

<p>Hey I always wondered, do I count as a first-generation student when I apply to US universities if I am an international student and both of my parents graduated from universities in Soviet Union?</p>

Mom- went to USA, dropped out, went to Tulane</p>
