<p>Where did your parents go to college? Did they like it? Do you want to carry on their legacy?</p>
<p>My mother received her G.E.D. She tried community college for a bit then dropped out.</p>
<p>My father went to Community college and then dropped out.</p>
<p>Both of my parents went to UIUC. I would love to go there.</p>
<p>Mom went to UCSB then Brown, dad went to Vanderbilt then Brown. My mom loved UCSB, and from what she tells me my dad loved Vanderbilt. I was interested in UCSB for awhile but decided it against it, and I’m not much of a fan of Vandy.</p>
<p>My mom went to Princeton, and my dad went to Wharton. I followed in my dad’s footsteps but was accepted to both.</p>
<p>Mom went to Michigan State, then Wayne State. Dad went to Drexel then Carnegie Mellon (though I recently discovered he was accepted to MIT and Stanford!). I would go to the schools my dad attended.</p>
<p>Both went to Oxford.</p>

<p>My parents did their undergraduate study at National Taiwan University (obviously, they’re from Taiwan) and went to UCLA for their graduate degrees. Hopefully, this makes me a double legacy at UCLA?</p>
<p>I don’t think I’d mind going to UCLA, but I’m definitely wary of going to UCLA (and any other UC, for that matter) given CA’s budget situation and some pretty horrific stories about UC class registrations.</p>
<p>My dad went to stanford, the Harvard school of public health. My mom went to Stanford, then dropped out of a PhD program at Cornell.</p>
<p>My mom never went to college.</p>
<p>My dad went to MIT and then Wharton.</p>
<p>My mom went to a small liberal arts college, then Med school. My dad went to the same Med school and then did his Masters at the Institute of Muscoskeletal Sciences - University College London.</p>
<p>My mommy and daddy met at Purdue. ;)</p>
<p>I couldn’t see myself there. It’s OOS (pricey) and even my cousin, who went there more recently, said it’s boring. Lol</p>
<p>It’s a good engineering school and a lot of famous astronauts have graduated from there (Neil Armstrong, the man himself, included). But with the shuttle’s funding being cancelled, I think they’ll be out of a job. :</p>
